Zone valves: 24V valves that open and close hydronic heating zones. Match the pipe size, 2-way vs 3-way configuration, and wiring (2-wire, 3-wire, or 4-wire) to the existing valve — and confirm the control panel (ZVC series) can drive the replacement.
The -2 suffix is the current 3-wire generation with an isolated end switch — the standard replacement for older 570-series valves.
Confirming the right zone valve
Before we quote, compare these fields on your failed valve. If any of them differ, send us a photo and we'll match it exactly rather than guessing:
- Full model number — including the generation suffix (e.g. 570-2 vs. older 570)
- Pipe size and configuration — 2-way vs. 3-way, sweat vs. threaded
- Wiring — 2-wire, 3-wire, or 4-wire; 24V
- Zone valve control the valve is wired to (e.g. Taco ZVC series)
