Wet-rotor cartridge design: the rotor runs in the system fluid, so there is no mechanical seal to fail. Always include the part number (103251, 103254) when quoting — that's what wholesalers search.
Naming: B&G's own page title reads “NBF-12F/LW”; the catalog's “1/20HP LW” naming is uncertain — we use the B&G page title.
The NBF-22 is not the same pump — different head class.
Confirming the right replacement
Before we quote, compare these fields on your failed pump's nameplate. If any of them differ, send us a photo of the nameplate and we'll match it exactly rather than guessing:
- Full model number — including the part number (e.g. B&G P/N) where one exists
- Voltage and phase
- System duty: flow (GPM), head (ft), and fluid — heating water vs. potable water matters
- Flange size and orientation for in-line replacements
