Taco 0010-F3 Replacement

Every 00-series (“double-oh”) circulator uses Taco's replaceable cartridge — the cartridge holds all the moving parts, so a failed unit can often be repaired with a cartridge swap instead of a full replacement. Cast iron = closed-loop heating only; stainless/bronze = potable water.

0010 vs 0011: same 1/8 HP, different duty. The 0010-F3 is high flow / medium head (primary-secondary loops, indirect water heaters); the 0011-F4 is high head. This is the #1 contractor confusion point — match the duty, not just the HP.

Confirming the right replacement

Before we quote, compare these fields on your failed pump's nameplate. If any of them differ, send us a photo of the nameplate and we'll match it exactly rather than guessing:

• Full model number — including the part number (e.g. B&G P/N) where one exists
• Voltage and phase
• System duty: flow (GPM), head (ft), and fluid — heating water vs. potable water matters
• Flange size and orientation for in-line replacements
